Be an AmeriCorps Garden Teacher
If you love teaching and gardening, please consider joining up with us as an AmeriCorps member. You will mentor children and welcome them into a life enhancing vegetable and flower garden. You will work with professional teachers. Expert growers will be there to teach you too. AmeriCorps members receive a living stipend and cash award for education (transferrable to younger family members if you are 55 or older).
What you need to bring: passion for helping children, love of gardening and nature, an inquisitive mind, ability to organize, and lots of energy.
